Immediately after 2005 Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) earthquake, Bilal Foundation established a field hospital in Hattian Bala, AJK to provide clinical and surgical services to the earthquake victims. Kashmir Government officially acknowledged and awarded Bilal foundation for their efforts. This was the beginning of Bilal foundation and since then we have reached various milestones. We are a non-profit charitable organization that relies on the philanthropic funding from our board of directors and volunteer donors.

Bilal Foundation is committed to provide access to modern and quality health services at affordable cost to economically disadvantaged/low income population in Rawalpindi and adjacent areas. We aim to improve the clinical outcomes of patients who are either suffering from kidney disease or are at risk of developing it in future.Our various activities are planned to increase awareness about preventable causes of chronic diseases such as heart disease and kidney disease. We have developed health literature to guide expecting mothers about ways to have a healthy pregnancy, how they can prepare prior to delivery time and once the baby is born how they can take good care of their newborn.
